Welcome
Dr. Monica Asnani is board certified in Pediatrics and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Medical degree from the University of Vermont. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2001.
She practiced Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine for 4 years in the San Fernando Valley, where she had a busy and thriving practice. Her love of academic medicine prompted her to move her practice closer to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to become more involved in teaching. Many of her patients followed her to her new location, despite the geographic distance.
Dr. Asnani currently sees infants, children and adolescents in her lovely new office. Most PPO insurance plans and two HMO plans are accepted. She also works in the Pediatric Urgent Care Center for Cedars-Sinai Medical Group.

Teaching Experience
Dr. Asnani is very committed to helping young doctors learn both the “science” and the “art” of medicine. For several years, she served on UCLA School of Medicine’s Faculty as a lecturer, where she taught third year medical students how the use of technology, communication, research and compassion can improve patient care.
She has also served as part-time faculty for the Department of Pediatrics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. There, she supervised and taught medical students and Pediatric residents in the Ambulatory Care Clinic and in her own office.

Testimonials
“I want to let you know how grateful we are that you are
our daughter’s pediatrician.
I immediately felt comfortable with you and actually looked
forward to our first check-up with the baby.
From that first meeting 10 months ago
to present I find comfort knowing I made the right choice.
We have moved to the Bay Area and still come down to Los Angeles
for Madison’s appointments, because
YOU ARE WORTH IT.
I always feel like Madison is your only patient whether we are
in for a scheduled appointment or you are returning a frantic
phone call.
Thank you again.”
Madison F., January 2007

“Just a quick note to say thank you again for taking such
good care of Isabella.
Your extra care and understanding of our daughter’s
illness was very much appreciated.
Because it’s our first child, everything seems so scary and
urgent when they are ill.
However, you’re so understanding, you never make us feel
bad for coming in so often.
Wish there are more doctors in this world like you.”
Bao and Derek, June 2003
“Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for

We’re so thrilled that you’re our pediatrician and
look forward to seeing you for years to come.”
